Betty Lou Kendzior passed away at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 82. Betty was born in Detroit the daughter of Ernest V. and Ellen G. ( nee McQueen ) Brady. She attended Detroit Public Schools and in 1959 she married James F. Kendzior. Jim preceded her in death in 1991. Betty loved to travel, especially places which were warm, Las Vegas and Florida were tops on her list. She enjoyed reading, basket weaving and of course dotting on her grandchildren. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy through the relationship of her great great great grandmother being a first cousin of the Army of Northern Virginia commander, Robert E. Lee. Betty is survived by her three sons Michael ( Lezlie ), Dan ( Tina ) and Glenn ( Nancy ) Kendzior. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, James, Alexander, Abbigail and Lauren and a brother Glen Brady. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack and James Brady and Mary Ellen Gianantoni and Mellie Morrison. A Memorial gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 4 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 7 pm which will be officiated by Father Thomas Belczak of St. Kenneth Catholic Church of Plymouth.
