Betty Lou Barker passed away after her battle with cancer February 20, 2016, at the age of 74. She was born in Plymouth, to Denver and Lillian Barker. Betty is survived by her siblings: Ruth Richard, Mary Ann Burk, Duane Barker, Richard Barker, Robert Barker and Rose Scott, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Denver and Lillian Barker, and her sister Norma.Betty was a lifetime resident of Plymouth. She worked for 31 years at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. Betty enjoyed shopping at festivals and travelling with her family. She loved her family very much and was always known to send cards for every holiday and birthday.Visitation for Betty will be Wednesday, February 24, from 2-8 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. Her Funeral Service will be Thursday, at 11 am, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
