Betty Irene Brink

Passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the age of 81. Betty was born in Plymouth on May 9, 1934, the daughter of George G. and Julia ( nee Roon ) Brink. She was a life-long resident of Plymouth, attending Plymouth schools and working in the Plymouth area. Betty loved cats and became interested in rescuing feral cats. Another enjoyment in her life was reading.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Ronald, Robert and Irwin Brink and shortly before her own death, her beloved cat " Lexi ". She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Lynda ( Daniel ) Markiewicz, Russell ( Carolyn ) Brink, Jerry ( Tracy ) Brink, Kathleen ( Michael ) McCollum, Cathy ( Marty ) Thompson, Randy ( Deb ) Brink, Doug ( Pat ) Brink, Larry ( Kerri ) Brink, Deborah ( Chip ) Vanderveen, Lisa ( Mitch ) Morgan, Karen ( Glen ) Eiler, Julie ( Tom ) McMahon and the late Robert Brink and Laurie Tear.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 2 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4 pm. The family suggests contributions be made in Betty's name to the Huron Valley Humane Society or the Plymouth Library.
