Bette Lou Herriman, age 83, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2021, she was surrounded by her loving family.
Bette was born on April 2, 1938 in Ontario Canada. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Herriman, the late Angelo Berardi and the late Joseph O'Hara. Bette was a devoted spouse and caretaker to all three loves of her life.
Bette was also the loving mother to Linda (Jeff) Juenemann, Larry (Allison) O'Hara, Cindy (Dan, deceased) Haas and Mike (Sue) Berardi. In addition, after her marriage to Patrick, she became step-mother to Doug (Pam) Herriman, David (Christine) Herriman, Daniel (Mary Ann Prchlik) Herriman, Michael Herriman and Donald Herriman.
She will be missed by the grandchildren, David (Agni) Juenemann, Kristin Juenemann, Lauryn (Michael) Moomaw, Marissa O'Hara, Matthew Berardi (deceased) and Brittany Berardi. In addition, her marriage to Patrick included her love to the grandchildren, Douglas (Elizabeth) Herriman, Dawn (Nicholas) Hurley, Dale Herriman, Jane Herriman, Nancy (Lucas Nuzzi) Herriman and Margaret Herriman. Bette's great grandchildren were the proudest loves to include David, Caitlyn, Jacob, Elizabeth and Isaac. Also the great grandchildren from Patrick to include Chloe, Madison, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Wyn and Cal.
Bette was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Her love for Joseph brought her to move to Plymouth, Michigan. Leaving her siblings, but always in her heart were Gertrude Edwards, Wayne Ellis, Linda (Jack) Pearson, Nancy (Tom) Lambert, Janice Ball, Patricia (Bob) Lunney, Mike (Doris) Ellis, Brenda (Doug) Calhoun, Colleen (Roger) Fell and Donna (Lloyd) Hendry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Irene Ellis, siblings Marilyn, Cassidy, William, Robert and Gerald (Mary Ann). Included in the large amazing family are many nieces, nephews and cousins who she was always happy to visit at the reunions.
In addition to taking the adventure to be the only sibling to move to the United States and become a citizen, Bette had several professions to include hair stylist, legal assistant and a teacher at Schoolcraft College. She was always busy and had many interests such as dancing, golf, travel, gardening, painting, cards being with friends and helping out at church.
The family extends its gratitude to the caregivers at Bickford of Canton and Heart to Heart Hospice. Bette made many friends with residents and staff during her brief stay there.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Rosary Service.
Bette will lie in state at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Road, Canton on Thursday November 11, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.

Bette will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
