Basil G. DeWitt

Basil Gene DeWitt, loving husband of 49 years to Sandra Marie DeWitt; father to Sherry Acerrano (Ronald) and Basil DeWitt (Paula); grandfather to Evelyn Acerrano, Halle Acerrano, Basil John DeWitt (Jordan), Genaro Acerrano (Jade), Curtiss DeWitt and Nicholas DeWitt; son of Basil E. and Hilda DeWitt; brother of Darlean Little (Karl), Helen Haner (Dale), Caroline Lamb (George), Shirley Solarz (Chet), and Janice James; many nieces and nephews.

Basil worked for General Motors for thirty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on lawn mowers and tractors. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Basil will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
