Basil Franklin Boyce, age 84 of Plymouth, passed away on September 6, 2016. Born in Detroit on June 24, 1932 to parents Arthur & Alice Boyce. Proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Basil is survived by his six loving children; Michael Thomas Boyce, Kevin Blair (Laurie) Boyce, Cynthia Boyce, Patricia Anne Reece, Brigid (Mike) Kemmerer and Patrick James Boyce. Beloved grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 17. Dear brother of Nancy Swanton and Sharon (Brent) Meyers.
Funeral service Tuesday, September 13th 10:30am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church 14951 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth. Basil will lie in state beginning at 10:0am until time of mass.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Monday, September 12th from 2:00pm-9:00pm. A Knights of Columbus Rosary will be held Monday 6:00pm.
Burial and honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 13th at 2:00pm.
