Barbara Marie Draybuck

Barbara Marie Draybuck (Gossiaux), age 54, of Northville, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on September 17, 2013. Loving wife of David. Beloved mother of Alexandra Marie Draybuck, Ryan Michael Draybuck and step mother of David Patrick Draybuck, Jr., and Andrew Mackey (Ashley) Draybuck. Precious daughter of Arla Gossiaux and the late Jules Gossiaux. Loving sister of David (Carol) Gossiaux, Dale (Peggy) Gossiaux, Danny Gossiaux and Duane (Pamela) Gossiaux. Adored aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was an accomplished Environmental Engineer and Geologist who used her skills and knowledge to make the world a cleaner place. Her professionalism and dedication will be missed. Barbara received her M.S. in Geological Siences. Among her hobbies were scrapbooking and geology, but she especially loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will take place Friday 10:30am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth on Thursday from 1pm until 9pm and Friday at church beginning at 10am. Graveside services will follow at Rural Hill Cemetery, Northville. Memorials may be made to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, 4100 John R. Detroit, Michigan 48201-9945.
