Arnold Young Park, of Plymouth, died June 10, 2019. He was 50 years old. Arnold was born in Detroit to Dr. Ro John Park and Young Ja (nee Kim) Park on December 22, 1968. Arnold is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Amy (nee Emrich) Park. Also surviving Arnold are his loving children Isaiah and Riley Park, his dear parents, his brother Charles (Adelaide) Park, his mother and father in-law Richard and Kathleen Emrich, and his brother-in-law Joel (Ellen) Emrich.
Arnold graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics. He was an avid U of M sports fan, especially the football team. Arnold spent his career working in the automotive industry, most recently as a Director of Quality at Lear Corporation.
When he wasn’t working, Arnold enjoyed cars, playing golf, going to the movies, listening to music, and collecting Harley Davison merchandise. He played the piano and the saxophone. Above all else, Arnold enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two beautiful children.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Michigan 48170. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 13, at the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, 701 Church St., Plymouth, 48170. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angela Hospice.
