Arlene Kay Solak died suddenly November 22, 2018. She was 77 years old. Arlene was the beloved wife of Lambert, “Bert” Solak for 56 years. She is survived by her loving children Vivian (Ron France) DeWalt, Carl Solak, Addison (Luisa) Solak, and Linda (Tony) Williams, her cherished grandchildren Heather (Charles) Wilson, Nathan (Tabitha Lane) DeWalt, Dana (Kevin) Paduchowski, Angelina (Ryan) Seyler, William Carter III, Gabriel Solak, and Jorja Solak, and her precious great grandchildren Jacquelin, Athena, Caleb, Emma, and Ava. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Fenolio, brother Jack Fenolio, and son-in-law Dennis DeWalt.
Arlene was a long time member of the Stitchers Club of the St. Kenneth Catholic Church. She loved to crochet blankets & hats for the Vets at the VA and enjoyed her time with the other members of the club. She was also active with her family in the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps. She liked to share her passion of the amusement parks & roller-coasters with her kids & grand kids. Arlene enjoyed her many camping trips with Bert and the rest of her family as well. Arlene was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth 48170. There will also be a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 28, at 11am at Resurrection Parish, 48755 Warren, Canton 48187. Arlene will be in state at Church at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Arc of Northwest Wayne County: Just Fun Club.
