Annette A. Carrie

Annette A. Carrie, age 82, passed away at Botsford Hospital on Monday, March 19, 2012. Annette was born on December 10, 1929, the daughter of Albert and Marie A. (Paul) Pelletier. In 1958, she married Robert L. Carrie, and together they shared 53 years of married life and raised three children. Annette worked for over 30 years as a cashier with Richardson Pharmacy. She was a member of St. Kenneth Catholic Church, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan watching and listening to as many games as possible. She loved to work with her hands in various crafts including sewing and knitting. Along with her husband, she loved to go across the border to the Windsor Casino. Her greatest joys, however, were her husband, children and her four grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Betty Carrie, Lois (Brian) Bez, and Edward (Laura) Carrie; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Joshua and Hannah.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road ( just south of Five Mile Road), Plymouth Township. The Reverend Fr. Thomas Belzcak will officate, and interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield. Contributions are suggested to www.pancan.org or to the charity of your choice.
