Anne Marie Reynolds, age 83 of Canton, passed away on December 4, 2020.
Anne Marie was born on August 10, 1937 in Chester, Pennsylvania to her parents, Daniel and Anne (née Calvarese) Molla. She is the beloved and devoted wife of 52 years to the late James Reynolds who passed away on January 13, 2017; loving mother of Maura (Tom) Topper and very proud grandmother of Kelsey (Jason) Bradshaw and Kyle Topper. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her sister, Josephine D’Amico.
Anne was an avid golfer. She loved the exercise, being outdoors on a beautiful sunny day and also great twilight golfing involving friendly competition with others who enjoyed the game as much as she did.
She also enjoyed playing tennis. There is a certain beauty and elegance when tennis is played gracefully. Just like playing golf, Anne Marie could feel the ball make contact and listen to that sweet sound every tennis player and every golfer wants to hear when that ball makes contact with the racket or the club.
When she wasn’t on the golf course or the tennis court, Anne Marie enjoyed playing bridge. Every hand was a new one that brought on its own unique challenges.
Anne Marie’s faith and her church were very important to her. She was very active in various ministries which allowed her the opportunity to utilize her many spiritual gifts. Anne Marie loved being a part of a community of faith and treasured the many friendships made over the years.
A Memorial Service is being planned for Spring 2021.
Those who wish to honor the memory of Anne Marie Reynolds are invited to consider a contribution to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter, 25200 Telegraph Road, Suite 100, Southfield, Michigan 48033.
