Anna Jo Kenney

Passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the age of 87. Anna was born in Detroit, the daughter of James and Catherine ( nee Crane ) Stevens. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Detroit and attended the University of Detroit. She married John Thomas Kenney, her high school sweetheart and neighbor across the street, on February 3, 1951, and together they shared 41 years of married life. John passed away in 1992. Anna was an avid bridge player and also enjoyed reading, singing in church and community choirs and collecting antiques. She is survived by her children Kevin ( Nancy ) Kenney, Colleen ( Randall ) Caulkins, Michael ( Lory ) Kenney, Brian ( Kim ) Kenney and Maureen ( Jeffrey ) Campbell. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and one great grandson. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road ( south of Five Mile ) Plymouth.
