Ann Louise Springer, age 71, passed away at home with her family beside her on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Ann was born in Detroit, the daughter of Jack E. and Gertrude E. ( Cahoon ) Cooper. She graduated from Plymouth High School in the Class of 1958, and received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Michigan. As a librarian, she worked for the Plymouth Library for many years. She later worked for, and retired from, the Pfizer Corporation in Ann Arbor. She is survived by her husband, William, and her daughters from a previous marriage (Horvath), Carol (William) Gardner and Lynn (Christopher Allan) Horvath. She leaves three grandchildren, Alex, Zoe and Jay, along with her siblings, Jean (William) Weber, Jim (Cathy) Cooper and Susan (Brian) Howe. A private family memorial service is planned.
