Allen James Taylor

Passed away on October 7, 2010 at Independence Village in Plymouth Township at the age of 89. Allen was born in England, the son of James and Margaret(Curry) Taylor. At an early age the family came to the United States. In 1943 he married Virginia and together they shared 60 years of marriage. Virginia passed away in 2003. Allen worked for North American Rockwell for 35 years retiring in 1962 as an engineer in vehicular design. His great joy was golfing and his family was all important to him. He is survived by his son Daniel (Kathryn) Taylor Sr. and the late Gregory. Father-in-law to Jeannie Krause-Taylor. Grandchildren Daniel (Amy) Taylor Jr, Cheri Taylor, Kristen (Kris Landis) Taylor, Peter (Julia) Taylor, Kathryn (Rick) Poole and James Taylor along with great grandchildren Micaela, Emma, Colin, Caleb, Clara, Gregory, Isabelle and Adam also survive. The family held a private interment service at Glen Eden Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice of Ann Arbor.
