Agnes Theresa Wisniewski

Agnes Theresa Wisniewski of Southfield and formerly of Detroit, died September 23, 2018. She was 97 years old. Agnes was the beloved wife of Stanley Wisniewski for 67 years. Agnes was survived by her husband Stanley and her two loving children Aaron (Linda) Wisniewski and Brian (Margaret) Wisniewski, and her precious grandchildren Matthew (Emery), Pamela, Scott, Megan, and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her daughter Gail, her two sisters Helen Duzak and Lillian Liddell, and her parents Joe and Mary (nee Graz) Mierzwa.

Agnes loved to spend time outside in her yard tending to flowers and her vegetable gardens. She was an active member at St. Christopher’s in Detroit for many years and was an integral part of the Rosary Altar Society. Agnes also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Agnes was truly loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Mass for Stanley and Agnes will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N. Territorial Road, Plymouth, 48170. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angela Hospice.
